Initial Weight: 240.6
Current Weight: 232.2
Current BMI: 33.3
Weight Lost: 8.4 pounds
I totally spaced this morning and drank a huge glass of water half an hour before I weighed in. Oops! I also ate an additional cup of soup last night - 240 calories - because I was starving. I knew I'd be awake for another four hours or so and I thought it was better for me to eat something than to kill my metabolism with beginner's zeal.
I did the chest, shoulders, and back portions of my upper body workout this morning and I'll do the biceps and triceps when I get home this evening. My new weights are great!

For soemthing really fun to work your abs instead of crunches or sit ups try bridging exercises, way more effective and less stress in my opinion. Anyways heres a youtube link to someone doing a bridge.

I think I'll need to build up my upper body strength a little bit before I can do this successfully, but I will definitely give it a try! I need to figure something out, or learn how to do crunches correctly, because whatever I'm doing is having no effect whatsoever. Everything else hurts except my abs.
I had the same problem before I started doing bridges and rotational exercises. On thing you can do is weighted crunches, they are weird though, I've never liked crunches there is too many variable that screw your form.
For rotational google russian twist, you can do that with a dumbbel also and it makes you want to die.
Ack, I want to die just looking at it!
